Greater Valley EMS has appointed Tammy Smith, NREMT-P to join the management team as the organization’s new Operations Compliance Supervisor.  In this position, Smith is responsible for all aspects of operational compliance including PA, NY and national ambulance requirements, as well as safety compliance for the company.  In addition, Smith will serve as a duty supervisor two days per week leading up to twenty-five EMTs, Paramedics, and paratransit drivers in their daily operations.

 “I am very glad to be in this area and have the opportunity to be working with such a great company,” states Smith, “I look forward to the continued growth and the ever-changing environment of EMS.”  Smith relocated to the Sayre area with her husband and their daughter.  She has been in EMS since 1995 and received her Paramedic certification in 1997.  Smith has an Associate’s Degree and has supervisory experience in similar companies.
