Greater Valley EMS has appointed Sonya Bement, NREMT-P to join the management team as the organization’s new Outreach Supervisor.   In the new position, Bement is responsible for all aspects of outreach including marketing, publications, campaigns, special events and recruitment & retention.  In addition, Bement will serve as a duty supervisor two days per week leading up to twenty-five EMTs, Paramedics and paratransit drivers in their daily operations.

“I’m excited to be a part of the good things Greater Valley does for this community” remarks Bement “and I look forward to promoting Valley as a more positive place to grow, learn and serve.”  Bement lives with her husband and two children in near-by Owego, NY.  She has earned her BA in Economics from Nazareth College of Rochester and is a National Registry Paramedic.  Bement brings more than 4 years medical marketing experience and has been an ALS provider since 1992.
