RESCUE DIVISION INSTALLS NEW OFFICERS
The Rescue Division of Greater Valley EMS has recently installed two new officers. Derrick Hall, Paramedic, has been named Rescue Division Captain and Bryan Farr, EMT has been appointed Rescue Division Lieutenant.
In their new volunteer positions, the pair will work together to supervise other Rescue Division volunteers and provide direction, coordination, and consultation for volunteer functions within the organization.
Derrick Hall lives in Athens and is a graduate of Athens High
School. He received his BS in Political Science from Wilkes University and has
been a volunteer with GVEMS since he joined the Junior Member Program in 1998.
He is a career-paramedic at the service.
Bryan Farr also lives in Athens and is a graduate of Athens High School. He
received his BS in Data Communications & Networking from Pennsylvania College of
Technology. He has been a career-EMT at GVEMS since 2003 and is currently
enrolled in the Paramedic Program at Corning Community College.
