Brian VanFleet, EMT, was recently promoted to Building & Grounds Foreman of Greater Valley EMS. The new position is a continuation of GVEMS goal to promote from within by matching staff's interests and natural abilities with organizational needs, thus encouraging both personal and organizational growth and pride.
VanFleet’s work week will be divided among regular ambulance shifts and his new duties, to include supervising, coordinating and maintaining the physical structures of the building and grounds. Van Fleet graduated from Athens High School in 2004, and is currently taking classes at Lackawanna College. He has been at GVEMS since he joined as a Junior Member in 2002 and is engaged to wed next spring.
